The scope of my research includes accessibility and availability of education, academic integrity and freedom, competence and research based teaching and learning, external and internal quality assurance systems.
Clinical psychologist and psychotherapist
I am a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist, certified Balint groups trainer. Co-founder and Executive director of Armenian Psycho-oncology Association. As a part of the team of YSU Center of Applied Psychology in 2016 I developed academic module on “Palliative psychology”, which is now included in the curriculum of YSU Master’s program on Clinical Psychology. As a guest speaker I has been invited to numerous scientific forums in Central and Eastern Europe.

My research interest covers the field of business and human rights. I am specifically interested in labor rights and environmental issues.

My main research interests include studies of conflict and peace, human rights, disability rights, youth issues and media. I am also actively involved in non-formal educational activities in the fields of conflict transformation and peace education.

I am a media consultant and researcher with a focus on foreign policy and democratization issues. As a consultant I cooperate with the European Institute of Peace, European Endowment for Democracy (EED) and International Crisis Group.
