Arpy Balyan
Feminist artist, queer activist

I am a queer feminist artist and activist from Armenia, based in Abovyan city. I'm involved in activism since 2013. I am the founding member of several feminist platforms and initiatives, including the "Women in Black, Armenia", which is a peace-building initiative and the "FemLibrary Armenia", which is a unique platform that brings together rich feminist, queer, gender and other theoretical and philosophical literature.
Nvard Piliposyan
Lawyer and legal professional
I am based in Yerevan, Armenia I am a practicing lawyer and legal professional from Armenia. I work in the field of human rights since 2011. My professional interests are mainly women's rights, non-discrimination and equality, hate speech and freedom of expression. Currently I work with "Women's Resource Center" and "Non-discrimination and Equality Coalition".

I am based in London UK, and work freelance as a photographer/artist, mainly engaging in documentary practices. Over the past 10 years, my work has taken me all over West and Central Africa, subcontinental Asia and a few other countries, including Armenia. I work long-term on a variety of topics relevant to human rights and health issues. Such projects include issues surrounding LGBT rights, Bangladeshi stone miners, the disease leprosy, and the Armenian prison system.
Tamar Dekanosidze
Lawyer and legal professional
I am from Tbilisi, Georgia. Based in Tbilisi. Work predominantly on women's rights, non-discrimination and health rights issues for the local organizations in Tbilisi, as well as the international women's rights NGO Equality Now, for which I focus on Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia. I've been doing strategic human rights litigation at ECHR, CEDAW and local courts in Georgia. I've done several studies on feminsit legal issues, including femicides and sexual and reproductive rights. I've also recently worked in Armenia to develop a toolkit for local NGOs on the monitoring of access to health services.
